The Saints may have lost their home opener, but fans say the season isn’t lost.

We spoke to fans just after the game. "They will get better. This is just the first game."

Many left the Dome feeling cautiously optimistic, pointing to bright spots on the field while noting that small mistakes proved costly.

"Our defense struggled a bit. Everyone needs to come together."

Most agree this is a rebuilding year one where progress is more important than playoffs.

Some fans say today’s performance showed promise, while others want to see sharper execution before calling it a turnaround.

"Honestly, I think it'll take a year or two before we really turn the corner."

Still, one thing’s clear: Saints Nation is ready to ride out the season, win or lose, with hope for what’s ahead.
