A major study on narcissism has yielded an interesting discovery - the Boomer Generation deserves the title of the "Snowflake Generation" more than Millennials.
The study was conducted by Michigan State University, published in the journal “Psychology and Aging,” and used hypersensitivity to determine a person's level of defensiveness and found that Boomers are actually more hypersensitive than Millennials.
It was the right-wing members of the Boomer Generation that invented the term "snowflake" to describe those MIllennials who are easily offended by opposing opinions. "Snowflake" in political terms is a derogatory slang term for anyone who is offended by the opinions of others that they don’t like.
As a hostile witness to the Boomer Generation, I believe the study is accurate, and that Boomers are more sensitive and reactive to opposing opinions. It certainly seems that way on the show sometimes!
