You've heard the phrase: "Companies that go WOKE - go BROKE."
It's true that some companies have experienced financial setbacks because of a WOKE decision - but the core definition of being WOKE is simply to be aware of - or awakened to - important societal trends and facts, and the lived experience of other people besides yourself, and the challenges they face as they move through the world and pursue happiness.. But being WOKE can also be good for business.
It seems that many Americans have been brainwashed into believing that anything WOKE is bad. Actress Melissa McCarthey was on the cover of the "beautiful people" issue of People Magazine. Melissa McCarthey is a plus size person. Why is it wrong to recognize her as a "beautiful person?"
Every local TV station has news anchors and reporters that do not fit the physical standards for being on-air talent. Every station has anchors and reporters that weigh more. Why should those individuals not be recognized for their talents?
Mattel - the toy company - has just introduced the first Barbie doll representing a person with Downs Syndrome. Why is that a bad thing?
There are always circumstances that represent WOKE Gone Wild, but too many Americans have simply listened to the leaders they respect and believe that ALL WOKE is BAD. When you simply follow what your respected leader says, you don't have to think. It's a lot easier to just believe what someone tells you rather than actually thinking about the different aspects of any issue!
