“We know the names. Many of us were abused by them,” Epstein abuse survivor Lisa Phillips said at a press conference today in Washington, D.C. and that’s what we all want to know - “the names.” Who were the men who paid money to have sex with underage girls? We want to know their names, not just because we are a voyeuristic society, but because the men who committed these horrific sexual acts against young girls must be exposed.
Chauntae Davis, another survivor, said that former President Bill Clinton was on a trip they took to Africa, and during that trip Epstein bragged about his very close relationship with Donald Trump. For Bill Clinton, who can accurately be described as a “sex dog,” being part of Epstein’s sexcapades is not much of a stretch. Clinton was well-known for his lust for women and the thought of him having a thirst for young girls is believable. But we don’t know if Clinton actually did anything, we only know that one of the girls said he was on one of their trips.
These young women coming forward were the very young, underage girls that were part of Epstein’s sex-trafficking empire, and we can be certain that rich, powerful men, many well-known by the public, went to Epstein for the purpose of having sex with underage girls.
President Trump used one of his convenient catch-phrases to try to dismiss the crisis he faces over the release of the Epstein Files when he said the whole thing is just a “Democrat hoax.” It is a pattern for Trump to use the idea of anything negative about him being a “Democrat hoax.”
For the record, Jeffrey Epstein was not a hoax. Older men having sex with underage girls was not a hoax. The survivors now speaking out is not a hoax. Nothing about what Trump faces is a “Democrat hoax.” The idea of a “Democrat hoax” is convenient for the MAGA Americans who will not accept the truth and are vicariously supporting older men having sex with underage girls.
We do not know if Donald Trump had sex with underage girls, but we now know, from the survivors, that Trump and Epstein were close friends. If you are close friends with someone, it means that you have something in common with that person. We share commonalities with our friends. If you are good friends with a guy who owns a taco stand and tacos are his world, there’s a good chance that you like tacos, too.
