The daily average over the last two days’ tops out at 1802 for a total of 3604 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state.
A total of 82 new deaths have also been reported bringing the total to 8,565.
The grand total of cases now stands at 383,862 with 46,647 cases listed as probable.
There are 1,641 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, 215 of the them are on ventilators.
As of January 18th, 320,025 people infected with COVID-19 are presumed to have recovered.
