NOPD is aslking for help finding a hit and run driver in a deadly collision.
"New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a vehicle wanted in connection with a fatal traffic crash," investigators said in a news release. "The collision occurred at about 8:39 p.m. on April 20, 2024 in the 8500 block of the I-10 service Road.
Cops say the driver of the Nissan collided with the victim as she was walking on the shoulder.
"The driver of the Nissan fled without stopping."
Police say it is a red Nissan 370Z sedan, with damage to the front and passenger side.
"It had Louisiana license plate 543 DMZ. The images show the vehicle before (above) the collision and after (below) the collision.
