Louisiana’s COVID-19 numbers continue to climb.
The latest numbers released at noon on Monday show 823 confirmed new cases and 45 more confirmed new deaths across the state.
Hospitalizations also rose by 67 and patients on ventilators jumped up 10 more.
Here are the total numbers released by the Louisiana Department of Health:
- Total confirmed cases: 274,781
-Total "probable" cases: 25,758
-Total confirmed deaths: 6,980
-Patients hospitalized: 1,597
-Patients on ventilators: 201
-New tests conducted: 5,878
-Total tests: 4,278,077
