COVID-19 hospitalizations shot up 60 today, to 1,589. That's the largest number since late July.
Total cases are up 2,924, at 264,191. The Louisiana Department of Health reports 38,222 tests since yesterday.
With 43 more deaths, 6,767 Louisianans have died from COVID -19.
