There are 1,077 new cases of coronavirus since the Louisiana Department of Health's Friday report. LDH has recorded 752,951 confirmed or likely cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began.
Another 29 Louisianans died from COVID-19 over the weekend. In all, there have been 14,350 deaths due to the pandemic in Louisiana.
Statewide hospitalizations are down 35 at 421.
A little more than 52 percent of Louisianans have had at least one coronavirus shot. More than 46 and a half percent have had all the necessary shots.
Fewer people sought out their first dose of the vaccine in the last week -- 17,334, about 1,200 fewer than last week. 21,745 more people completed their vaccinations since last Monday, about the same as the week before.
