The Louisiana Department of Health says a data issue is keeping them from updating the number of COVID-19 deaths in Louisiana today. As of yesterday's report, 8,080 Louisiana residents have died from the disease.
Total cases are up 3,712, on 38,033 tests, just under ten percent positive.
Hospitalizations are up 26, at 2,001.
The worldwide death total for the pandemic passed 2,000,000 today, according Johns Hopkins University data.
