Louisiana’s two-day count of coronavirus cases is in.
So far the daily average amounts to 1001 new cases a day for a total of 2003.
The information was culled on 40,592 new tests.
In all, there are now 411,812 total cases of COVID-19.
43 new deaths were reported over the two days bringing the total to 9,119.
1,166 patients are hospitalized with 143 on ventilators.
As of the first of February 363,457 people afflicted with COVID-19 have been presumed to have recovered.
