The number of people in the hospital for COVID-19 in Louisiana dropped below 400 today, for the first time in more than three months. The 399 in today's Louisiana Department of Health report is the lowest it has been since July 8.
The state reports 581 new cases today, and 38 more deaths.
Total cases are 753,532, and total deaths at 14,388.
