New Orleans police are investigating a shooting that happened late Saturday night, which injured nine people.
A police report says it happened in the 10100 block of South I-10 Service Road.
All nine victims were taken to the hospital by either EMS or a private vehicle. A female victim is listed in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the face says NOPD.
Police initially reported eight people were shot in this incident. However, on Sunday a teenage juvenile arrived to the hospital with a gunshot wound according to the report. Police now say it is determined he was shot in this same shooting incident.
In all, police report seven adults; four males, and three females, along with two male juveniles have been shot.
The investigation into this incident remains active and ongoing.
