For the first time in quite some time, COVID-19 numbers appear to be edging off as witnessed by the latest map provided by the Louisiana Department of Health.

The latest two-day count is 1,312, an average of 656 over the last two days.  In all there are 419,891.

There have been a total of 16 new deaths, bringing the total to 9,292.

875 people are in a hospital with 142 of them on ventilators.

Since February 8th, a total of 380,673 victims of the disease have been presumed recovered.
