The Louisiana Department of Health reports another triple-digit increase in COVID deaths in its daily coronavirus pandemic report. The state reports 110 new deaths.
With 2,844 hospitalized COVID patients, that's 12 fewer than yesterday, and 178 fewer than last week, when the state reported its record high of 3,022. Ninety-one percent of COVID patients in Louisiana are not fully vaccinated.
The state reports 6,619 new cases.
