Due to winter weather conditions and road closures, Waste Management will suspend all garbage and trash collection services for South Louisiana area customers on Monday.
That impacts customers across the region.
In Jefferson Parish, officials announced that garbage and recycling collection will be suspended at 1:00 pm on Monday.
Any customers who do not have their trash collected will have to wait until their next regular collection day.
Also, the residential trash drop-off site at the Jefferson Parish Landfill will also close at 1:00pm on Monday.
