Fox News host and outspoken Donald Trump supporter Tucker Carlson has told multiple people that he voted for rapper Kanye West in the 2020 Presidential election, according to Politico.
The claim would be a shocking one if verified given Carlson’s many fierce on-air defenses of former President Trump. It’s also a vote that would have taken a bit more work than just pushing a button or punching a card.
Carlson is registered to vote in Florida, one of the states where West was not listed on the ballot. So if true, Carlson would have had to write-in a vote for West.
So far, Carlson has declined to comment on the report.
"Prior to the election, Carlson said he would vote for West, according to a third person who knows Carlson, per Politico. “He and Kanye get along. They both regularly find themselves in the crosshairs. They’re both pro-life,” this associate said.
