And now Louisiana is in the cone of uncertainty for Tropical Storm Eta. But WWL-TV Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says it's only a sliver, and the storm may not even last long enough to get here.
The National Hurricane Center says the bulk of the models used to create the forecast show the storm heading north, into an environment of strong wind shear. The forecast has it at maximum winds of 35 miles per hour, below tropical storm strength, by Saturday.
