The flash flood warning for New Orleans has been canceled, but heavy rain will continue on and off tonight
"We should see some more breaks in the rainfall by late this evening and tonight, but during the overnight hours, we're not going to be dry," said WWL TV meteorologist Chris Franklin. "We'll see less rain coverage and less intensity, but about a 50 percent chance for some overnight showers and storms with some heavy downpours"
Tomorrow's rain chance is 70 percent, and some storms could be heavy, so the flood risk will continue, Franklin said.
Thursday, there could be a severe weather risk from high winds, hail, and possible tornadoes.
