A stationary front along the Gulf Coast will bring some scattered rain and storms to the New Orleans area on Thursday, but it won't bring cooler temperatures. Highs remain in the 90s for the next few days with humidity also sticking around. We'll see a cool front push into the area in the next few days. That'll bring more comfortable, less humid air to the region, but temperatures will remain in the high-80s and low-90s for the forseeable future. Rain chances also go to zero when that cold front arrives.
No tropical systems are in or threatening the Gulf of Mexico. Long-range models are quiet through the next 10 days.
