It will be hot this weekend, with lots of sun and not much chance of rain.
"High temperatures this afternoon getting to the low to mid 90s and we will trend dry today -- no chance for rain which will be nice but make sure you stay cool and hydrated, because we'll stay hot all weekend long," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "Tomorrow: high temperatures back into the mid-90s."
The next significant rain chance will not come until the latter half of next week.
