Forecasters says we could see damaging winds and flooding rains Monday in Southeast Louisiana.
"Significant flash flooding possible Monday afternoon thru early Tuesday morning," The National Weather Service advised. "Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible."

The Weather Service office for New Orleans says winds will also be an issue.
"Expect strong gusty winds that'll increase during the day on Monday, lasting thru and after the cold front passage into Tuesday."

Government meteorologists say gusts could exceed 50 miles per hour.
There could also be some isolated tornadoes, but the risk is "slight."
"A cold front will bring thunderstorms to the area and some storms could become strong to severe," the NWS posted.
