A system in the Bay of Campeche could develop into a tropical system and bring heavy rain by Friday.
WWLTV’s Meteorologist Payton Malone says, “We continue with intense heat and mainly dry weather Wednesday and Thursday before a heavy rain threat arrives starting Friday into the weekend. First, we're still under the control of high pressure to our west. This will squash most rain potential through Thursday - only a few isolated storms will be possible in the afternoons.”
