The wetter weather continues today.
"Get ready for more showers and a stronger breeze," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone forecasts. "The Gulf low will be sending showers and stronger northeast winds today and lasting into early Wednesday."
He says showers are expected to remain light enough, so flooding won't become a concern.
"Most locations stay under two inches of rain when it's all said and done. Winds will be stronger through Wednesday, so minor coastal flooding can be expected for east-facing shorelines outside any levees."
The rain comes to an end Wednesday.
"The rest of the week looks dry, even as a cold front moves through late Friday."
Malone expects less humid conditions this weekend.
