It is Mother's Day. The weather today will be a little warmer a just a tad muggier.
"Feeling a little more humid and we'll see some more cloud cover on our Mother's Day, but we should trend mostly dry for the bulk of today," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler.
Highs today will be in the 80s.
"By tonight, we'll start to see some passing showers and storms, really on the Northshore, well north of the lake, and tomorrow, expect some scattered rain and storms," Alexa said.
