The rain may be winding down Wednesday night, but more is in the forecast for Thursday.

"Showers will be winding down headed into the rest of your Wednesday" said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "It will stay cloudy and mild going into the overnight hours."

Alexa says Thursday will feature more rain.

"There could be some heavier downpours but it's not going to be as rainy as today," she said.
