Some early morning storms made for a wet commute across Southeast Louisiana. More rain is on the way, and we could see some hail too.
"Throughout today we'll watch for a few more storms, especially during the afternoon. One or two of the afternoon storms could produce large hail," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone warned.
He says tonight is mostly quiet, just warm and muggy... before more stormy weather.
"Our next storm system arrives tomorrow morning with t-storms likely for most of the area. A few of the storms in the morning could be severe with gusty winds, large hail and a tornado or two. Most rain will taper off by the afternoon as drier and cooler air filters in. It will be dry and cooler for Wednesday and Thursday."
