We have already had some showers around New Orleans this Saturday morning.
"It's going to be very warm and humid today with temperatures in the upper 80s this afternoon under partly cloudy skies," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "There could be a couple passing showers around."
Alexa says better rain chances come tonight.
"Our best bet to see some rain and storms will come overnight through early Sunday morning, and we could see an isolated strong storm early Sunday morning," she said.
Later in the week, we may have our first day in months where high temperatures remain below 80 degrees.
