All around New Orleans and southeastern Louisiana, people are bracing for freezing conditions and snow. But before that weather arrives, we will have a cold but not frozen Sunday.
"Temperatures rise into the 40s with sunshine," said WWL-TV meteorologist Brooke Laizer, giving you time to finish prepping for the freeze.
"We see hard freezes on both sides of the lake tomorrow," said Brooke, with wind chills in the teens.
"Monday night into early Tuesday, we'll be watching for that precipitation to move in," she said. "Right now, snowfall accumulations continue to look more likely on the northshore and southshore."
Freezing conditions could still make driving difficult on Wednesday, and possibly even Thursday.
