Tuesday's forecast can be summed up with a line from the Herman's Hermits song "I'm Henery the Eighth I Am": Second verse, same as the first.

Conditions will mimic what we experienced on Monday, with lots of hot, humid air smothering Southeast Louisiana with very little rain in the forecast. Highs will reach the mid-90s with heat indices reaching between 103 and 107. Though we don't expect much rain, we can't rule out an isolated storm or two north of Lake Pontchartrain.

The rest of the week looks the same, with temperatures in the mid- to upper-90s and heat indices near 110. Next week could be even worse, with record high temperatures possible.
