The National Hurricane Center is tracking Tropical Storm Fred as it barrels toward the Florida Panhandle with heavy rainfall.
"The Florida Big Bend and Panhandle... 4 to 8 inches of rain with isolated maximum storm totals of 12 inches are expected," forecasters advised.
The current track calls for landfall this evening near Panama City Beach, Florida.
Louisiana could see slightly higher tides and a little gustier winds, but no major impacts.
Tropical Depression Grace is forecast to move through the Caribbean and across the Gulf this week as a tropical storm. Grace is not forecast to impact Louisiana or any of the US according to the current track.
"By midweek, Grace may interact with the Yucatan Peninsula, which should limit strengthening or perhaps weaken the system depending on the track."
The Hurricane Center expects Tropical Depression Eight in the Atlantic to become Tropical Storm Henri, but it is forecast to stay away from the United States.
