Without shape-shifting or putting on any weird headgear, we time-travelled back to 1983 for Saturday Morning Flashback. CD players were introduced commercially, the White Sox were "Winning Ugly" on the south side, and Chicago elected Harold Washington as Mayor. The TV show "Mash" signed off with 125 million people watching. Michael Jackson made everyone do double-takes when he moon-danced on Motown's 25th anniversary special. We heard R.E.M's and Stevie Ray Vaughan's debuts and the Police's last. David Bowie reached unprecedented commercial success with Let's Dance. Here's our soundtrack from 36 years ago....
