Marty Lennartz

Marty grew up in the shadow of Wrigley Field and in the upper left corner of the city in Edison Park. After attending Notre Dame High School in Niles, Marty went on to Columbia College where he had a class encounter with Terri Hemmert.

In 1981, Marty joined WXRT as Terri’s producer and never left. After 45+ years at WXRT, Marty is forever ingrained into the fabric of the station.

Marty and his long-time partner, Nancy, who were recently married, live in a large Wicker Park loft with their dog, Chalupa.
