Brandi Carlile, a six-time Grammy award winner, is no stranger to the media circuit as a musical guest, but lately she's been in the hot seat to promote her new memoir, Broken Horses. She had an inspiring conversation with Terry Gross on Fresh Air last week, as well as with Stephen Colbert as a guest on his Late Show.
