CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – The coronavirus pandemic has once again caused an event cancellation in Chicago.
The 2021 Progressive Insurance Chicago Boat Show scheduled to take place Jan. 6-10 has been canceled.
“This was a difficult decision and was made with the health and safety of our guests, exhibitors and employees top of mind,” said Show Manager Keith Ogulnick. “Following a thorough analysis regarding the feasibility of the show, this is the most prudent course of action, and we look forward to the show returning in 2022.”
The Progressive Insurance Chicago Boat Show is produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the world’s largest producer of boat and sportshows and the leading association representing the recreational boating industry.
The Chicago Boat Show is scheduled to return to McCormick Place January 12-16, 2022.
In the meantime, attendees are encouraged to visit DiscoverBoating.com for helpful resources on boat buying and the boating lifestyle.
