3 people who died at Edgewater senior building ID'd

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Three people who died this week in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood have been identified.

David Edwards, 53 was pronounced dead at the scene located in the 5800 block of North Broadway, a Chicago Housing Authority senior building where two women were found along with Edwards in an apartment.

The women Linda Daly, 70 and Royce Daugherty, 38 were taken to a nearby hospital where they later died. It's still unclear how they died, or if the three were related.

Police and firefighters found the three people around 6:30 a.m. on Friday. The Chicago Fire Department said it initially responded to a hazardous materials situation, but carbon monoxide levels were normal when authorities arrived, according to CBS 2.
