CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 15-year-old boy has been charged with stabbing two other teens late Monday afternoon on the South Side.
It happened at 35th and King Drive, down the street from police headquarters. It was about 5 p.m.
Police said the 15-year-old was in a physical altercation with two other boys, 15 and 16.
They said he produced a sharp object and stabbed both.
The 16-year-old had a stab wound to the neck. He was in critical condition.
The 15-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest. He was in good condition.
The boy who, police said, committed the crime, was arrested a few blocks away. He faces two counts of aggravated battery while using a deadly weapon.
