CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Michelin Guide has announced that it’s giving its “Bib Gourmand” award to nearly 60 Chicago restaurants.

This is the first time in two years that the Michelin Guide has given out its Bib Gourmand award to places that serve “good quality food at a good value.”

The pandemic put the kibosh on noshing out last year.

Michelin says 58 Chicago restaurants deserve the Bib Gourmand, which is just one step shy of a prestigious Michelin star.

Two years ago, 54 Chicago restaurants made the Bib Gourmand list. Since then, some of those have closed.

The new list includes 10 additions:

-Chef’s Special Cocktail Bar in Bucktown
-Ciccio Mio in River North
-Joe’s Imports in the West Loop
-Kasama in Bucktown
-Mama Delia in Bucktown
-Munno Pizzeria & Bistro in Andersonville
-Perilla in West Loop
-Soulé in Bucktown
-Tzuco in River North
-Vajra in West Town

Chicago's Michelin star restaurants will be announced on Thursday.
