CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police found an abandoned baby Tuesday afternoon in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.
Officers found the little girl, who they believe is about 1 year old, near Ohio and Wood Streets at about 3:45 p.m.
It was not clear what led officers to the girl.
They took her to Lurie Children’s Hospital in good condition, and Chicago police officials said the Department of Children and Family Services has her in its care.
