CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – For years, the Chicago Winter Bike Swap was held at Harper College in Palatine, but next weekend the event will make its debut at the Kane County Fairgrounds.
Organizer Hal Honeyman, who owns The Bike Rack in St. Charles, told the Kane County Chronicle the new venue offers more space for vendors, educational seminars and an indoor test track.
The Chicago Winter Bike Swap is scheduled for Feb. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults and children age 12 and under are free.
The Fox Valley Bike and Ski Club will also host a 20-mile ride on the Great Western trail that morning.
