Where to see 2024 Fourth of July fireworks in the Chicago area

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — As the Fourth of July approaches, cities and towns all across the Chicago area are preparing to light up the sky with their 2024 fireworks shows. We’ve rounded up more than 80 of the best shows taking place all around Chicago, so if you’re still working out where to go — we’ve got you covered.

In case you’re curious: The earliest fireworks will take place in suburban Evergreen Park and Cary on June 28, and while Chicago won’t have fireworks on July 4 itself, Navy Pier will put on a fireworks show on July 3 and July 6. Pingree Grove has the latest fireworks, with its Independence Day celebration planned for July 13.
