Buffalo Grove HS students return to class, first time since deaths of 4 classmates

BUFFALO GROVE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Classes resume this morning at Buffalo Grove High School as students and staff continue to wrestle with emotions over the deaths of four students this week.

The four students were killed in a traffic crash Tuesday night in Wheeling, the same night coincidently that there was a small fire at Buffalo Grove High School and which prompted administrators to cancel classes two days for cleanup.

At the start of  District 214’s school board meeting, four teenagers were remembered.

The principal of Buffalo Grove High School said extra counselors and social workers from around the school district will be available today for any student or staff who needs to express themselves.
