(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Congresswoman Robin Kelly announced the loss of her husband of 20 years Friday.
Dr. Nathaniel Horn, Kelly's husband, was 68 years old.
"My husband was a remarkable man. He was a loving father, a compassionate husband, an incredible friend, and a great doctor that touched the lives of many people in a positive way," Kelly said in a statement.
"Whether he was 'dad,''grandpa,' or 'Dr. Nate,' his impact on all those who knew him and loved him will never be forgotten."
Besides his wife, Horn is survived by his two daughters, two stepchildren and two grandchildren. No further details have been released as the congresswoman has requested privacy at this time.
