Called the worst of the worst by a judge, a convicted rapist was captured in Chicago on Saturday.
Montrelle Deprice Dubose, 52, was previously convicted and sentenced in his absence to 120 years in prison. He was arrested as he was exiting a fashion store at Stony Island in Chicago.
Northwest Indiana Times said the US Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force, Homeland Security, Gary Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff's Department work together to make the arrest.
Dubose was convicted in April 2021 of kidnapping a woman from the Gary Metro Center in 2019, repeatedly raping her and forcing her to drive around naked during a five hour ordeal.
