A man was killed in a crash early Tuesday in Gage Park in the Southwest Side.
The man, whose age wasn’t known, was driving west at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a pole and tree about 12:35 a.m. near 59th and Western, Chicago police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name hasn’t been released.
No other injuries were reported.
