CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — DuPage County has confirmed its first cases of the omicron variant, joining a list of other counties across the state where this latest version of the coronavirus has popped up.
DuPage County Health Department officials said 16 cases of the omicron have been found with the first positive test collected almost three weeks ago, on Dec. 8.
The city of Chicago confirmed its first omicron case on Dec. 7
DuPage County says none of the Omicron cases has been reported hospitalized or deceased.
