(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — After a 20-year hiatus, Santa's Village Amusement and Water Park in northwest suburban East Dundee is bringing back one of its beloved attractions.
The Polar Dome Ice Rink will open for the 2025 season on Friday at 6 p.m. – debuting a fresh new look, but with the same family-friendly atmosphere it was known for.
Park officials say in addition to the public ice skating, they're expanding experiences to include recreational hockey, Learn to Skate programs, birthday parties, and more.
Skating costs $12 and you can bring your own skates or rent a pair for $5. To view the schedule and book tickets in advance, visit the Santa’s Village website.
The rink is expected to be open until at least mid-May.
