GARY, IND. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The city of Gary has shut down a bar where there was a shooting last weekend.

The shooting occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday inside and outside the Up Top Lounge on 21st Avenue.

“We are all frustrated and angry that a handful of people choose to behave violently toward others," Gary Mayor Jerome Prince said in a statement.

The shooting remains under investigation.

A 37-year-old man identified as Troy Allen was killed. A woman and two other men were wounded.

The city will now decide whether the business license will be suspended or revoked.
