Boutique art museum in Lincoln Park Wrightwood 659 will be displaying the famous Infinity Mirror Rooms by Yayoi Kusama starting Sept. 25.
Kusama, a Japanese artist known for her signature polka dots and red bob, died last month at the age of 97.
The exhibit, titled “Inner Worlds: Visions from the Hirshhorn Collection,” features work by Kusama, along with her art-world peers Mary Bauermeister and Niki de Saint-Phalle.
The exhibit is currently the only place in Chicago to experience Kusama’s mirrored rooms, immersive, colorful, and reflective works give viewers the illusion of infinite space.
The exhibit runs through December 19.
