Police have also put out a couple of photos of the boy, including one in which he has a black eye.

At first, police said Bryson was last seen Sunday when leaving a relative’s home in Ohio with his mother. Shortly after that, the Chevy Suburban Kristen Muir was driving was pulled over by police, but the teenager was not in the vehicle.

Police said the parents had started to cooperate and had promised to bring the boy into a police station, but they allegedly backed out.

Muir is 6 feet 2 inches tall, 185 pounds, black hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing an orange Under Armor shirt and blue jeans.

Police say he “is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.”
